Loretha Huxman - Hunter KS

Loretha Jane Huxman, 89, of Hunter, KS, died Thursday, November 16, 2017, in Beloit, KS. She was born December 25, 1927, in Hunter, to Rudolf John and Mable Marie (Sell) Kralicek.
During her young years she moved with her family to several towns in north central Kansas. Her family had moved to Hunter, when her mother died in 1939. A few months later she and her siblings moved to the Odd Fellows home for 2 ½ years. In 1942 she and her siblings moved back to Hunter to be reunited with their father. Loretha graduated from high school in 1946. She married Norman Huxman, and to that union three daughters were born: Dallas, Vickie, and Jane. She moved back to Hunter in 1966, where she resided until her death.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Duane, John and Neil Kralicek; sisters, Marjorie Stussy and Alaine Plank; and great-granddaughter, Ashley Carter.
Left to celebrate her life include: daughters, Dallas (Ronald) Ross, of Sebring, FL, Victoria Ingram, of Little Rock, AR, and Jane (Bruce) Whiting, of Warrensburg, MO; brother, Oliver D. Kralicek, of Hunter; sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Smiley, of Hutchinson, Betty Standley, of Salina, Mary Kralicek, of Hunter, Grace Keller, of Belleville, and Sharon Kralicek, of Olathe; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
There will be a private family service Thursday, November 30th, at Greenwood Cemetery, with a time of fellowship following at 11:30 at the Hunter Community Center.
